The Availon GmbH, formerly known as the SSB Service GmbH, could not be more pleased with its first trade fair presence at the Husum WindEnergy 2010. The motto was "Pointing the way to the future!“ And that’s exactly what the Availon team did.

It was impossible to avoid contact with the new company name and logo since the majority of trade fair visitors were transported to the exhibition grounds in Availon-sponsored shuttle buses. The logo was featured on the outside of the buses as well as on the seat headrests inside the bus. Visitors landing in the Hamburg Airport were also greeted by Availon key messages in the shuttle bus waiting room.

The Availon booth on the outdoor exhibition grounds pointed the way to the future and set new standards – starting with the new branded flags that flew over the tent, orienting visitors and guiding them to the booth. The booth design with its white, comfortable furniture was deliberately minimalistic and modern, the focus being on highlighting the new name and Availon’s key messages: SSB Service is now Availon – effectively bundling its cross-brand WTG competence. Nothing on the booth distracted visitors from this corporate message. The fact that Availon was located in its own tent, somewhat apart from the exhibition halls, proved to be a big advantage: Guests were able to engage in relaxed conversation with the Availon staff in an oasis of calm away from the hectic atmosphere of the trade fair halls. "This suits you perfectly," commented one customer about the new design whose signals were clear: We have successfully created an atmosphere of trust in which we can be attentive to our customers’ needs. We take the concerns of potential customers seriously, analyze the problems and offer solutions. One of the central themes of the stand was the new full-service capabilities of Availon as well as our long established services for GE turbines and, more recently, for selected Vestas^® and Gamesa turbines.
A highlight of the trade fair week was definitely the stand party on September 22. The new name was celebrated under the motto, "A toast to independence." More than 150 guests accepted our invitation and partied with the Availon team until midnight with music from DJ Orange.
