DNV GL has already issued Availon with a third-party certificate relating to aspects for which many other service providers have been denied certification to date: quality, work safety and environmental management at its Rheine, Hamburg, Erfurt, Madrid and Rome sites.

Quality management, which perhaps has the highest profile of these, is particularly relevant and worthwhile for big companies, such as power utilities, to consider. It is important because it shows that we never let our standards slip and that our financial background is reliable. It also endorses our expertise in servicing and confirms that our processes are fully functional. Now we’d like to introduce you to some of our key processes and show you how we implement them.

Well-educated and motivated employees are the most important prerequisite to successfully implement our efforts for quality, work safety, health and environmental protection.

Every accident and every occupational illness is avoidable. That's why we do everything to ensure that our employees end their working day in just as good a health as when they started it in the morning. Of course, this also applies to our visitors and suppliers. We actively foster this with comprehensive training and information, but also with cross-hierarchical communication and continuous improvements of protective measures.

We actively support the protection of the environment and make every effort to not put further strain on it with our services.

We undertake to create a climate of permanent, open and sustainable cooperation through our societal involvement and our cooperation with authorities and associations. The upholding of legal regulations is a minimum standard for us.

We actively involve our suppliers in our efforts around work and environmental protection.

In order to guarantee the upholding of our guidelines, we have implemented an EHS system according to OHSAS 18001:2007.

Quality management is likely the most prevalent part. Particularly in terms of permanently high quality and a reliable financial background, it is both interesting and relevant to energy suppliers and, above all, major corporations.
